I’m honored to be part of the book launch of this inestimable jewel, Oluwadarasimi Adegboyega. As she launched her book at a young age of 10, and I can cogitate vividly that she started writing at a tender age of 5. What an exceptional feat. This made various thoughts fly in my head, and right there, I made more promises to my self, to help younger ones grow in their talents. The reason is not far fetched, and as I have often said ” Talent can open an emergency door of opportunity where the main entrance door of one’s profession is unexpectedly locked “.
I remember vividly, I started writing novelettes at a ripe age of 19, but this came up as a result of a quote I came up with, then. ” a tick of a clock, may be the time of one’s luck”. Back then, I was frustrated for not being able to gain admission. However, I didn’t know it was for a reason, and the reason was divine. ” I discovered the talent of writing novelettes, novella and music. From the proceedings of these books, my higher institution life, enjoyed its financial boost.
I’m using this medium and media space to encourage every young talent out there and every adult talented ones who have left their talents unharnessed, to do so, as every unused talent on earth, in my own school of thought, would be queried by God.
I wish her more years of glorious book launch, record -breaking published books, continuous excitement and pride for her parents and pride to the nation and world at large. Keep soaring higher till you reach the echelon of success in life. God bless you.
