Brief History
Adept planets is a Nigerian indigenous skills and talent development organization that organizes talent hunt program for Nigerian primary and secondary school students. The Adepts Talent Hunt initiative started in December 2016. Before June, 2018 it was called DreamAlive Talent Hunt competition. Since the inception of this program, exceptional kids with amazing musical talents have been discovered. Between December 2016 and April, 2018, it was organized monthly with cash prizes and other gifts awarded to the winner. However, in May, 2018 an agreement was reached by the organizers to make it a quartely event, in order to make the prizes awarded more significant and rewarding. The winner and first runner up of the June, 2018 edition were given the opportunity to have their debut tracks recorded in a partner studio. To the best of our knowledge, we are the only Nigerian indigenous skills and talent development organization that focuses on development of artistic children in Nigerian primary and secondary schools in the areas of music, poetry, drawings and painitng, etc thus enabling them to give full expression to their talents irrespective of their interests.

Mission
To provide the opportunity for artistic children and youths to develop and give full expression to their talents, to expose rising artists to a variety of entities related to different genres of the arts and to support and enhance projects, programs, and activities for talented and motivated youth of our communities and provide an appropriate competitive forum for the display of their talents in the Performing and visual arts.
Vision
To provide support for young artists to participate in developmental activities related to presenting their talents, marketing their talents, and participating in relevant artistic workshops (recording and production, stage presence and presentation, Choreography, etc.) that will provide them with skills for moving their careers to higher levels of Entertainment.
